#About

John was born in Canmore, Alberta. He learned to ski with the Bow Valley Kids program at Lake Louise before joining ULLR Big Mountain at age 11 – where he found his love for freeride. Since then, John has skied the IFSA junior freeride circuit in western Canada with great results in the 22/23 season. This has motivated him to further pursue his sport. John has been exposed to many different types of skiing, and loves to do it all! His favourite things about skiing are challenging himself and having fun with friends. He looks up to all his coaches in the ULLR club and feels privileged to ski and learn with such amazing skiers and people. In summer months, John applies the same passion for sport to mountain biking. He just wants to be in the mountains forever, and feels so lucky to call the Bow Valley his home.

1) Where do you wish to ski in the future? Whistler and japan. 2) What athletes inspire you? My coaches, Jordy, Zev, Ashton, Eli and big Lou. 3) What is your favourite place you have ever skied? Lake Louise, I feel most at home.4) Summer or Winter? Probably winter because I can go skiing.
