We’re introducing something new this year—our Film Submission Contest! This is your chance to showcase your ski, snowboard, or mountaineering footage and compete for a top prize in front of a live audience at Rippin' the Rockies.

How It Works:

Starting October 9th, submit your best 2-5 minute ski, snowboard, or mountaineering film. Whether you’ve captured deep powder days, tough mountain climbs, or unique winter adventures, we want to see it!

The Top 3-5 Films will be selected and screened live at Rippin' the Rockies on November 7th, where the audience will vote for their favorite film via a QR code shown on the screen.

Submission Guidelines:

• Film Length: 2-5 minutes
• Theme: Skiing, snowboarding, or mountaineering (footage from any season is welcome)
• Submission Deadline: November 6th, 2024

What’s at Stake:

The winning filmmaker, chosen by audience vote, will take home a full ski setup, including:

• Volkl skis
• Marker bindings
• Scott ski boots

Judging & Voting:

• Our team will review all film submissions and select the Top 3-5 Films to be showcased at the event.
• Audience members will vote live using a QR code displayed on the screen.
• The winning film will be announced during the event on November 7th.
