Salomon
We can’t guarantee that the QST 98 will make you ski like Nico Vuignier, but we bet that you’ll love the innovative freeride shape that keeps this ski winning awards year after year.
Best for
Freeride
Intermediate, Advanced
Playful & Agile
Progression meets shape. We’ve lowered the widest points and lengthened the rocker of the ski in order to bring playfulness and reliability to all types of turns.
All-mountain versatility
An innovative shape plus 98mm waist make the QST 98 a versatile driver - whether you're chasing fresh snow, seeking out side hits, or enjoying fresh corduroy.
Trustworthy stability
A C/FX carbon backbone and double sidewalls create a powerful ski with strong edge hold. Cork inserts in the tip & tail eliminate chatter, offering a smooth, playful ride.
SHAPE PROFILE: Freeride Profile
CONSTRUCTION - Full Sandwich Sidewalls: Full Sandwich Sidewalls guarantees stability and precision, it enhances performance by providing good edge grip and smooth ski-to-snow contact.
CORE - Full Poplar Woodcore: A full Woodcore construction maximizes liveliness, stability and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations.
REINFORCEMENT - Ti Binding Reinforcement: A titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot, running throughout the ski, for maximal power and increased hard snow edging.
REINFORCEMENT - C/FX: C/FX is a fiber layer consisting of Carbon and Flax woven together. It combines the strength, stability, minimal weight of carbon with the increased level of dampening of the flax.
TECHNOLOGIES: Double Sidewalls
TECHNOLOGIES - Cork Damplifier: Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight.

Skiing is who we are
We were established almost 75 years ago by John Monod, a Swiss mountain guide and ski instructor. Quality outdoor gear is what our brand was built upon since 1949.
